Google heeft de Nik Collection een update gegeven naar versie 1.11
Wijzigingen:
- Fixed crashes and other issues with Intel GMA GPUs on Windows and Mac OS
- Fixed an issue with the progress bar causing our software’s window to appear on top of other windows
- Improved launch speed
- Fixed an issue with preset tool tips that occurred after a preset was renamed
- Several updates to translated text
- Silver Efex Pro 2: Reset the default Compare “before” image to the default black and white image in Side-by-Side and Split View modes. Users who want to compare to the original colored image need to adjust the comparison state in the History browser
- Color Efex Pro 4: Fixed the functionality of the Cool Ice method in Photo Stylizer.
- Sharpener Pro 3: Fixed an issue that occurred when working with multiple images in Aperture and using “Color Ranges” for selective sharpening that set the three custom colors to grey instead of to red/orange/blue for the second image or later
HOMEPAGE
De software wordt automatisch geupdate maar je kunt dit ook handmatig doen door de trail te downloaden en te installeren. Het eerder gekochte product blijft dan gewoon geactiveerd!

Inmiddels bij versie 1.2.9 aangekomen (15 juni 2015)
- Removed support for Mac OS X 10.6
- Added ability for installer to detect Lightroom CC
- Fixed transparency errors that occurred with files from Lightroom
- Fixed issues in versions of Photoshop Elements 12/13 purchased from the Mac App Store
- Enhanced security
- Fixed Color Efex Pro 4 Favorites sorting issue in the Selective Tool
- Fixed a rare issue of oversized log files being created

Mooi op tijd, moest Nik toch opnieuw installeren vanwege update PS CC2014 naar CC2015.

Ik heb gewoon CC2015 geïnstalleerd, daarna de Nik pluginmap gekopieerd van CC2014 naar CC2015 en daarna CC2014 gedeïnstalleerd. Werkt prima op die manier!

Zo zou het moeten inderdaad... Maar Adobe had voor mij geregeld dat CC 2014 automatisch gedeïnstalleerd werd, de plugins-folder van 2014 staat er nog wel. Die had ik gekopieerd naar CC2015 maar lijkt niet helemaal goed te gaan.
En gek genoeg ziet de Nik 1.29 installatie op mijn gewone Mac PS CC2015 niet; op mijn MacBook ging dat wel goed... Ach, heb ik wat te doen vandaag

En opgelost...
Plugins handmatig gekopiëerd naar PS CC2015, PS opgestart, daarbinnen één van de Nik-plugins opgestart en alles weer afgesloten. Vervolgens Nik 1.29 installatie gestart en PS CC2015 wordt netjes herkend. Kennelijk had ik op de MacBook dit proces onbewust al zo uitgevoerd
